Our Organic Blueberries are some of the biggest and juiciest around! Guests are free to pick when the berries get blue. For Visitors we do offer U-Pick and have baskets available when in season. See our Facebook page for instructions. We have a mix of Northern Highbush and Rabbiteye Blueberry Varieties. Other than mowing the lawns and pruning the bushes occasionally, it's all nature, baby.

At Blueberry Brook, nature enthusiasts can explore over eight miles of trails winding through the woods that envelop our farm resort. Almost a mile-long stretch has a unique boardwalk, ingeniously crafted using recycled construction waste that would have been otherwise discarded. Embodying our commitment to sustainability, every aspect of Blueberry Brook centers around recycling, repairing, and reusing resources responsibly.
Thanks to our Southern Adirondack location, we boast some of the best fall foliage in the Northeast. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking colors of autumn while exploring the historical Mohawk Valley. Additionally, you can venture along the Central Adirondack Trail, which begins just minutes away from our location. Plan a stay with us to experience our region's magnificent beauty.
The Chenango Canal Towpath, which parallels the Chenango Canal Corridor, is conveniently adjacent to our property. It serves as an ideal trail for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing. This convenient path allows you to reach Deansboro without needing a car, perfect for biking enthusiasts. It's truly a haven for outdoor adventures.
Our property is graced by the lovely Oriskany Creek, providing multiple serene spots to sit back, relax, and watch the water gently flow. For those inclined to angling, bring your fishing gear and try your luck at catching a local Brown Trout. We're happy to suggest a few choice spots, or feel free to find your own slice of heaven where you can drop a line.
We take pride in our adjacent farm's offerings, from grass-fed beef to free-range chickens and turkeys, not to mention our lively goats, sheep, pigs, and other animals who relish our open fields and fresh grass. We also offer guided farm tours for a closer look at our furry residents. Zoe, Ripley, and Cece, especially, adore visitors!
Jake's Gouda Cheese, a local delight, is handcrafted just around the corner from our resort. Made from milk sourced from cows reared nearby, it's truly an irresistible treat for cheese lovers. Experience the art of cheese-making and tour the cheese house to see where this fine Gouda is created.
Join us for our annual 5k Mud Run in honor of Daniel Barden's life. Hosted at MKJ Farms, participate in a team obstacle course filled with mud, followed by live music, food, and drink. This event celebrates an exceptional young life and raises funds to provide local youth an experience in leadership and self-confidence.

Howe's Caverns were reportedly discovered accidentally by Howe on May 22, 1842. In pursuit of his cows, who often sought out the cooler temperatures near a hidden cavern entrance, Howe stumbled upon what's now known as the "Blowing Rock". He credited his discovery to his cow, "Millicent". Intrigued, Howe and his neighbor, Henry Wetsel, ventured into the cave.
